Typical festive Halloween activities at Ballyrobin in the past include trick or treating, carving pumpkins into Lanterns and Restaurant Manager of the Year Man- Ting Chan telling scary stories !
Actually we made that last bit up…the bit about the scary stories but not the bit about Man-Ting winning another award for Ballyrobin at the Northern Ireland Hospitality awards 2018…hoorah for Man- Ting and her team !
I digress…Did you know All Hallows’ Eve is another name for Halloween, but we all know it as Halloween. Well there is lots happening at Ballyrobin this Halloween so why not pay us a visit ?
We will have a Trick or treat in the Nest with Children’s Trick or Treat table  from Wednesday 24th October to Saturday 27th October when you can dine out with our Fabulous Early Bird Offer running from Monday – Saturday  from 4pm-5.45pm.
As an alternative we will have our Daily Specials which are always one of our guests favourites and for Halloween it will be sure to please.

Restaurant Manager of The Year Award goes to Ballyrobin Country Lodge at Exhilarating Evening at Northern Ireland Hospitality Awards

The second Northern Ireland Hospitality Awards 2018 welcomed over 200 guests at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belfast, on Monday 8th October in a memorable celebration of the country’s hospitality industry. It was a night of celebration for Ballyrobin Country Lodge once again as Man-Ting Chan picked up the Restaurant Manager of the Year Award. In addition congratulations to everyone as we also received a Highly Commended Recognition award.

This follows last year’s success when Ballyrobin Country Lodge won the Hotel Restaurant of the Year Award at both the Food Awards Northern Ireland and the Northern Ireland Hospitality Awards for 2017

The Northern Ireland Hospitality Awards 2018 acknowledged the achievements of local professionals and establishments, from restaurants, bars and hotels to festivals and venues that have stand out from the rests due to their dedication to the customer satisfaction.

The winners, who are chosen by members of the general public, are a true reflection of the commitment, quality and impeccable customer service that flow in the Northern Irish hospitality industry.

The black-tie event was hosted by Paulo Ross. He welcomed on stage talented individuals and businesses, recognised for the efforts they put into ensuring that their guests enjoy themselves. The awards provided a platform to thank those who constantly deliver memorable experiences to their clients and make the country a friendly place for visitors.

A Spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Hospitality Awards 2018 said: “The hospitality industry plays a vital role in enhancing the country’s tourism and reputation. Ballyrobin Country Lodge Nominated as Finalist Again in The Third Food Awards Northern Ireland 2018 – Hotel Restaurant of the Year Category

The third Food Awards Northern Ireland are back and so are we as once again we have reached the finals of the Hotel Restaurant of the Year category based on the tremendous number of nominations received from the public.

The awards seek to recognise the hard work and efforts of the Northern Irish food industry. Accolades will be presented to the best restaurants, takeaways, pubs, hotel restaurants, cafes and bistros, as well as to those who help us to explore new flavours and cuisines from different cultures.

A black tie event will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belfast on Monday the 4th June, when the best of the Northern Irish food industry will come together for a glamorous night to celebrate the success of professionals and businesses in the industry.

The Food Awards Northern Ireland promises to be the biggest and most memorable event in the food industry calendar this year, with a wide range of accolades to be presented to the most deserving professionals and establishments in the field, including Restaurant of the Year, Chef of the Year, Cooking School of the Year, Best of Belfast and many more.

Hot on the heels of winning the Hotel Restaurant of the Year Award at the Food Awards Northern Ireland 2017 we’ve only gone and done it again !

This time we’ve won the Restaurant of the Year at the The inaugural Northern Ireland Hospitality Awards 2017 held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belfast on Monday, September 25th in a celebration of the Northern Irish hospitality industry.

The Northern Ireland Hospitality Awards are a celebration of the success of local professionals and establishments. The winners are a true reflection of high standard and customer service as they are chosen by members of the general public.The black tie event was hosted by Pamela Ballantine.

She welcomed on stage talented individuals and businesses, acknowledged for constantly delivering memorable experiences and high-quality service to their clients.

“We were very happy to welcome the guests and celebrate with them. Congratulations to all finalists and winners!”

In addition, the awards supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the charity raised £1340.
